One of the people I follow on Twitter is Rebecca Kochenderfer, whose podcast is “The Power of Journaling.” (Didn’t I just say that yesterday?)
What I like about her podcast is that it is broken down into short topics so that you can choose what you need to hear at any given time, while you are writing or while you are waiting for your muse to show up. I have listened to many of the topics and although she is focusing on writing primarily rather than a visual experience of art journaling, nevertheless there’s inspiration to be gained.
Rebecca has a team and a website with resources for her brand of journaling. You may find her information helpful. Check it out at Journaling.com.

I’ve written about Marta in an earlier post. MaremiSmallArt.com provides a wealth of tutorials and a video blog, just fun to watch her interact with her daughters and her subscribers. There are free tutorials for nonsubscribers as well.

The apple doesn’t fall far
I couldn’t sleep last night. I didn’t know why, and as I lay in bed I began to feel anxious, jittery. I told myself maybe it was the general angst energy all day hearing, over and over, that a police brutality video was going to be shown. I must have drifted off about 4 a.m.… Read more
